Laura Belle Shatto, the daughter of Susan and David Shatto, was born in Sac County, Iowa, May 28, 1894 and died July 24, in the Spencer Hospital at the age of 61 years, one month and 26 days after an illness of three and one-half years

She was married to W.A. Lauck, October 4, 1920 at Primghar.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Help Club of Summit Township and Keystone Class of the Chrisitan Church

Survivors include two sons, Howard and James Lauck, two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Goedicke and Mrs. Florence Eissner, all of Spencer. Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. J.R. Peterson of Rochester, Minnesota, Mrs. M.L. Meyer of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Joe Beving of Langdon, Mrs. John Snyder of Moneta and Mrs. Glenn E. Lowe of Cedar Falls. Six brothers; William Shatto, Rapids City, South Dakota, Lester Shatto of Stillwater, Minnesota, Ray Shatto of Texas, Luther and Glenn Shatto of Spencer.there are seven grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by husband.

Funeral services were held July 26 at the First Christian Church with Rev. A.M. Halvorsen officiating.

Pallbearers; Dean Shatto, Donald Snyder, Dale Snyder, Darrell Beving, Roy Shatto and Lee Shatto

Interment was in Summit Township Cemetery
