Kathryn Mary Williams, daughter of Arthur Henry Reetz and Nellie Mae (Davis) Reetz, was born April 28, 1913, in Centerville, South Dakota. She graduated from High School in Hampton, Iowa.

On June 10, 1930, Kathryn was united in marriage to Estell Arthur Williams in Emmetsburg, Iowa at the Methodist Parish. To this union one child was born.

Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. In 1932, they owned a small cafe in Hampton, Iowa that had rooms for rent above it. They moved to Spencer, Iowa in 1941 and bought their first house. Their son Arthur was born on January 2, 1942. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and with the war worsening, they moved to Yipsilanti, Michigan until the war ended in 1945. After they moved back to Spencer, she worked at Delaney's Nursing Home, The Hotel Tangney, ran the Spencer Youth Center, and worked at North's Mushroom plant.

She was very active in the Grace United Methodist Church and especially her Circle. Kathryn was a great cook, loved collecting dolls, did fabulous crocheted doilies, and loved raising African Violets.

Estell died on Mar 31, 1976 and she lived alone until she married Junior (Jay) Danielson in Spencer on June 10, 1988. After Jay died on Oct 19, 2001, she moved to Naperville, Illinois to be near her son Arthur and his wife Dixie.

Kathryn died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the Tabor Hills Nursing Home in Naperville, Illinois at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two brothers, Arthur and Jackson Reetz; and a twin sister, Rose Mary Reetz.

She is survived by her child, Arthur Williams and his wife Dixie of Yorkville, IL; three grandchildren, James and his wife Lynn of Naperville, IL; Julie of Oswego, IL; and Janelle and her husband Todd of Sheridan, IL; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a brother Phillip Reetz and his wife Lori of Eagle Grove, Iowa.
