June 26, 1974Funeral for D. A. Dammrow, 73, Freeburg Mobile Home Park, Spencer, will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. C Earl Page will officiate.
Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer.
Bearers; Les Pearson, Edgar Pearson, Don Schoelerman, Bill Chaffin, Don Bremer, Jack Schoelerman.
Mr. Dammrow died Wednesday, June 26, 1974 at his home.
He was born June 4, 1901 to August F. and Sieke Duysen Dammrow at Council Bluffs.
On August 12, 1966, he was married to Maude Ferris at Alliance, Nebraska.
He had lived in Spencer the past 28 years, previously making his home at Council Bluffs.
He was a feed salesman for Schreiber Mills for 32 years and retired in June 1973.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church.
Mr. Dammrow is survived by a stepson, Thixton Miller of Oregon, Illinois; seven stepdaughters, Mrs. Russell (Marilyn) Tanhoff of Spencer; Mrs. Warren (Kathryn) Bauman of Royal; Maxine Keene of Brea, California; Mrs. Delber (Mabel) Schomaker of Spencer; Mrs. Clarence (Alberta) Childress of Norwalk, California; Mrs. Arlin (Janice) Kohlwes of Rochester, Minnesota; and Mrs. M.E. (Nila) Nickel of Colorado, 21 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a brother and two sisters.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
