Claire William Freeburg, the son of Oscar and Christina Freeburg, was born September 14, 1947 in Spencer, Iowa.

Claire lived in Cambridge, Minnesota, before moving to Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He lived in a group home for the last several years where he had many friends.

On October 2, 2008, Claire passed away in Redwood Falls at the age of 61.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Christina Freeburg and one sister, Margaret.

Left to cherish his memory are one sister, Helen Erickson (Freeburg) of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, Bruce Freeburg and his wife, Juel of North Platte, Nebraska; two nieces: Kathy Erickson of Des Moines, Iowa, and Beth Beckius (Freeburg) of North Platte, Nebraska; nephews: Rodney and Chris Erickson of Des Moines, Iowa, Terry Freeburg of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Todd Freeburg of North Platte, Nebraska; as well as many cousins; other relatives and many friends.
