Funeral services for John E. Busch, 72 of Spencer were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Lightle Hayes Funeral Home of Spencer. The Rev. Arnold Cox officiated.

Burial was in the North Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Busch died March 11 at the Longhouse Residence.

Bearers; Merle Osterberg, Fred Kellum, David Becker, Bill Reevert, Mike LaBruyere and Jan Harmelink.

Mr. Busch was born May 8, 1903 in McArthur, North Dakota, the son of Fillip R. and Mary Deck Busch.

He married Dorrine Hayter on February 27, 1940 in Dearborn, Michigan.

Mr. Busch retired from farming in 1966.

Survivors include his wife, Dorrine of Spencer; two sons, Don of Spencer and William of Napoleon, North Dakota; six grandchildren; two brothers, George of Holly, Michigan and Bob of Grand Forks, North Dakota; two sisters, Mrs, Lydia Smith of Seattle, Washington and Mrs. Marie Van Stralen of Bell, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

The Lightle Hayes Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
