Lucas Allen Krieg, the son of Terry and Vickie (Nielsen) Krieg, was born February 16, 1986 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer, where he received his education.

Lucas married Shaina Jackson on April 7, 2008 in Spencer. Following their marriage, he worked in various businesses in Spencer, most recently, Standard Distributing. Lucas enjoyed playing (Guitar Hero) playing the guitar and drums, canoeing, wakeboard, fixing cars, spending time with his family and friends.

He passed away at his home in Spencer, Iowa on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the age of 23.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shaina of Spencer; his two daughters: Chloe & Cadence Krieg of Spencer; his parents: Terry and Vickie Krieg of Spencer; one brother, Aron Nielsen and his wife, Clarissa of Royal, Iowa; one sister, Randi Krieg of Spencer; his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Moor of Spencer; his paternal grandparents: Roger and Shirley Krieg of Ruthven, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.
