Funeral services for Asta Petrine Matilde Bang, 85, Spencer will be held tommorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer The Rev. Lee Sather and the Rev. Tome Dettmer officiating

Casket Bearers: Bill Bang, Jon L. Bang, Tim Thomsen, Dave Beman, Dave Eich and Del Roskens

Burial will be in Northlawn Cemetery, Spencer

Mrs. Bang died Sunday at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer

The daughter of Lauritz and Johanne (Jensen) Miller, she was born March 2, 1903 om Skagen, Denmark. She came to America at the age of five and lived in and attended school in Racine, Wisconsin until moving to Spencer in 1920

She married Harold Bang on October 26, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. She lived in Spencer all her adult life, except a few years in the late 1920's when she lived in Chicago. While in Spencer, she was a floral designer at Miller's Pantry Sehlf for about 10 years, until retiring in 1965

She had been a resident of St Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer since 1983.

She was also a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer

Mrs. Bang was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren

Survivors include two sons, Harold Jr. of Miami, Florida and Jon Alden and his wife, Judy of Peterson; a daughter, Betty Bang Dailey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Einer and Sigurd Miller of Tamarac, Florida; one sister, Margaret Miller Hughes of Chicago, Illinois; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren

Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
