June 3, 2000Luverne H. Vierow passed away Saturday, June 3, 2000 at the Primghar Care Center in Primghar, Iowa
Luverne was born to Chris and Alvina (Balgaman) Vierow on March 3, 1925 in Aryshire, Iowa. He was educated in Aryshire, going through the eight grade.
He served in the Army during World War II. He then worked in Spencer at various jobs. He moved to Hospers, Iowa in 1983 and then to the Primghar Care Center in 1998.
He is survived by three children; Mary Ann and Roger Ewoldt of Hospers, Karen and James Oleson of West Okoboji, Edward and Cheryl of Pocahontas and six grandchildren; Shyla, Paula, Aaron and Kyla Ewoldt and Patrick and Scott Oleson. A brother Walter and his wife Helen in Barstow California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William, Elmer, Edward and sister, Edna.
Graveside services were held at Northlawn Cemetery in Spencer, Iowa on Thursday, June 8, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating at the service was Rev. Brian Janssen of the First Presbyterian Church in Hospers.
