Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Dickens Saturday afternoon at two o'clock for Mrs. Sena Hansen of east of Gillett Grove who died at the Spencer hospital Wednesday, October 19.

The Rev. B.J. Trickey, pastor of the local Congregational church, conducted the funeral services. A quartette composed of Mr. and Mrs. Van Hoven, Mr. Bailey and Mrs. Toland sang "The Eastern Gate," "Will the Circle Be Broken?" and "Good Night and Good Morning." Miss Joyce Miller presided at the piano. Burial was made in the Dickens cemetery.

Jensena Larson was born in Norway October 26, 1881, and died at the Spencer hospital at the age of 51 years, 11 months and 24 days.

She came to America with her parents in the fall of 1890 and settled on a farm in Sac county near Schaller.

She was united in marriage to John H. Hansen February 10, 1898. They lived on a farm near Schaller until the spring of 1911 when they moved to Lyon county, Minn., where they resided until 1913. In 1913 they came to Clay county and have since lived near Dickens.

To this union were born six children, Harry and John of Dickens, Mrs. Myrtle Culver of Spencer, Mrs. Clara Derry of Dickens, Mrs. Pearl Ingvall and Mrs. Jessie Hawks of Estherville.

Mrs. Hansen was deeply interested in the welfare of the church and community, having been a member of the Congregational church in Dickens since 1920. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors of Dickens.

She leaves to mourn her departure beside her husband and children, ten grandchildren, three brothers, Louis of Hendricks, Minn., and Matt and Olaf Larson of Kennan, Wis., and a host of other relatives and friends.
