Spencer, IowaMaxine Bliss, the daughter of Clarence and Wilda (Wise) Ellis, was born January 25, 1917 in Spencer, Iowa. She attended school in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School in June of 1935.
Maxine married Robert Bliss on October 24, 1953 in LuVerne, MN. Following their marriage, she worked at a number of businesses, the last being for Dr. Michael and Dr. Ty Fideler Denistry in Spencer. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer.
Mrs. Bliss passed away at Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert on October 10, 1983 and two brothers: Lee and Robert Ellis.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Ellis of Superior, WI; two nephews: Tom Ellis and his wife, Maureen of Whitefish Bay, WI and Greg Ellis and his wife, Gina of Mesa, AZ; two nieces: Sandra and her husband, Dr. Kim Thompson of Duluth, MN and Katherine and her husband, Scott DeBeir of Superior, WI; other relatives and friends.
