Bonita (Bonnie) Harrison, the daughter of Ernest and Betty (Dorman) Ebel, was born May 26, 1947 in Melvin, Iowa. As a young girl, her family moved to Spencer where she received her early education and graduated from the Spencer High School. Following her schooling, Bonnie worked as a nurses aid at the Spencer Hospital and as a nanny in Des Moines.

Bonnie was married and to this union three daughters where born. She was a devoted mother who stayed home to raise her girls. She later did daycare in her home when her girls where older. Bonnie was a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer where she served on the Ladies Circle, High School Sunday School teacher for several years and was a Youth Group Leader.

The past five years, Bonnie resided in Mankato, Minnesota where she lived with her daughter Kriselle, and later she resided at Autumn Grace Assisted Living.

Bonnie passed away on October 31, 2007 at the Hill Crest Health Center in Mankato, Minnesota at the age of 60. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Ebel.

She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands: Kriselle and Dale Brobst of Mankato, MN, Charity and Dave Zimmerman of Sioux City, IA and Shantell and Bryan Sebastian of Spencer, IA; 7 grandchildren: Holly and Ethan Brobst, Allison and Joseph Zimmerman and Mitchell, Leanne and Nicholas Sebastian; her mother, Betty Ebel of Spencer, IA; 2 brothers and their wives: Jerry and Mary Jo Ebel of Phoenix, AZ and Kenny and Kim Ebel; 3 sisters: Shirley Ebel of Spencer, IA, Janet and her husband, Jim Rusk of Greenville, IA and Jane Ebel of Spencer, IA; other relatives and many friends.
