Marcia Britt Haffner, the daughter of Ralph Cary and Lois Emily Britt Kiblinger, was born March 4, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana. Her childhood years were spent in Muncie, where she received her education, graduating from Muncie Central High School.

Marcia married Bobby Gene Haffner on February 21, 1953 in Muncie, IN. Following their marriage, they lived in Indiana until July of 1973, when she moved to Iowa. They divorced on November 9, 1981. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Spencer.

She passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Friday, December 29, 2006 at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; an infant son and her mother-in-law, Verna Noble.

Marcia is survived by one son, Jackie Haffner of Haleyville, Alabama; four daughters: Diane and her husband, Don Feezor of Spencer, IA, Donna and her husband, Bruce Berg of Peterson, IA, Kimberly and her husband, Tracy Cowen of Clarinda, IA and Lisa Green of Erie, Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one sister, Carol Kiblinger of Elmont, NY; other relatives and many friends.
