Edna Charlotte (Meyer) Last
February 10, 1910- December 7, 1993Edna Last, 83, Spencer, died Tuesday, December 7, at Longhouse Residence, Spencer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, at 10:30 a.m. in Warner Chapel, Spencer with Rev, David Barker officiating.
Casket Bearers; Douglas Miller, Dan Witt, Chad Miller and Steven Martin
Burial will be in Summit Township Cemetery, Spencer, with Warner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Edna Charlotte Last, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Pape) Meyer, was born February 10, 1910 in Sutherland. It was there she received her early education and graduated from high school.
On October 1, 1930, she married Wade Last in Spencer. Following their marriage, the couple farmed in Summit Township in Clay County. In 1962, Mrs. Last moved to Spencer.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid and had also served as secretary of the Farmer's Union for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by three sisters, Mabelle Williams of Portland, Oregon, Alvina Haugen of Emmetsburg; and Mildred Wells of Spencer.
