Mrs. Thomas McPherson, who for many years lived on a farm near Gillett Grove, passed away on Wednesday evening of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Kenyon, in Maple, South Dakota. Paralysis and old age were the cause of her death.

For many years before her husband's death in 1917, Mrs. McPherson lived on a farm near Gillett Grove. When she was left alone three years ago, she removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenyon at Maple, South Dakota, where she had since been making her home. The body was brought to Gillett Grove and funeral services were held in the church, there at one o'clock Sunday afternoon. Interment was made in the Gillett Grove cemetery. In this community, Mrs. McPherson leaves a son, W.D. McPherson of Sioux Rapids, and many, many friends.
