Patricia Ann (Wilson) Dykstra
November 26, 1931- January 11, 2001Patricia Ann Dykstra passed away January 11, 2001 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer. Funeral services were held January 15 at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley with the Rev. Milo Sheldon officiating.
Pallbearers; Rod Dykstra, Randy Dykstra, Tim Galm, Dana Galm, Paul Galm and Kirby Schmidt.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kirby Range, Gary Wilson, Marvin Heikens, Loren Wilson, Mick Wilson, Jack Wilson, Mitchel Eeten and Stanley Heikens. Interment was at the First Reformed Church Cemetery in rural Everly.
Patricia Ann Dykstra was born November 26, 1931 to Charles and Goldie (Eeten) Wilson in Everly. She received her education in Everly. Patricia was baptized a member of the First Reformed Church of Everly.
On January 12, 1950 she married Vernon Dykstra at the First Reformed Church in rural Everly. The couple farmed near Hartley.
In 1973 she transferred her church membership to the Trinity United Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School and was an active member of the Due Decem Club of Hartley for many years.
In 1993, she retired and moved to West Okoboji.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Duane Wilson.
Mrs. Dykstra is survived by her husband, Vernon of West Okoboji; two sons; Brian Dykstra and his wife Sandra of Omaha, Nebraska, and Todd Dykstra and his wife Tammy of Hartley; one daughter, Lisa Dykstra of Spencer; 2 grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Wilson and his wife Doris of Everly, Roger Wilson and his wife Judy of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister Sharon Faulkender and her husband Robert of Spencer.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of the arrangements.
