December 14, 1947-September 17, 2004Mr. Douglas Clayton Camp, 56, of Spencer, passed away Friday, September 17, 2004 at Spencer Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for today, September 21 at First Christian Church in Spencer. Rev. Charles Schoeninger officiates at the 10:30 a.m. service. Burial in Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
Casket Bearers; Sarah and Micheal Frederick, Chantelle and Mark Lair III, Elizabeth Boernsen, Chelsea Boernsen, Matthew Norgaard, Rodney Boernsen and Ronnie Fitzloff.
Douglas Clayton Camp, the son of Carlos and Doris (Hallcock) Camp, was born December 13, 1947 in Spencer. His childhood years were spent in the Spencer Community where he received Special Ed Schooling. In January 1988, Douglas moved to the Sunshine Group Home in Spencer, and then to the Hartley Community Memorial Health Center in October, 2002.
Douglas was baptized July 28, 1963. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer and and honorary member of the Fostoria Fire Department.
Mr. Camp was preceded in death by his father, Carlos in 1984; maternal grandparents, Riner and Florence Meyer; and paternal grandparents, Irwin and Verna Camp.
Douglas is survived by his mother, Doris Camp of Spencer; one sister, Coreen Boernsen and her husband Rodney of Everly; four nieces; Sarah and Michael Frederick of Fostoria; Chantelle and Mark Lair III of Terril; Elizabeth Boernsen and Micheal Boernsen and Matthew Norgaard of Spencer; and Chelsea Boernsen of Everly; a great-niece and nephew; other relatives and friends.
