August 18, 1945-March 12, 2002

A funeral service for Paul Trierweiler, 56, of Greenville, will be held today, March 16, 2002, at the Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Tonna Parsons will lead the 10:30 a.m. service. Mr Trierweiler died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at the Spencer Hospital.

Casket bearers will be Channing and Micheal Brown, Mark, Tony, Kevin, Clint and Brian Trierweiler. Honorary casket bearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery in Greenville. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Paul Gilbert Trierweiler, the son of Peter and Wilma (Bucholz) Trierweiler, was born August 18, 1945, in Spencer. He was raised and attended school in Moneta and Everly.

He married Nancy Evans on July 24, 1965, in Jackson, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they established their home in Greenville, where he operated a mechanic shop. He then worked as a mechanic on road construction. Mr. Trierweiler was an assistant chief and chief for the Greenville Fire Department where he served for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters; Renee Jackson and her husband Brad, of Hampton, Dawn Trierweiler of Spencer, and Paula Trierweiler and her finance, Jeremy Leinen of Sibley; two sons; Vincent Trierweiler of Greenville, and Chad Trierweiler and his wife Barb, of Rossie; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild;two brothers and their wives; John Alice Trierweiler of Iona, MInnesota, and Mike and Linda Trierweiler of Royal; one sister and her husband Mary and Hal Brown of Dunkerton; other relatives and friends.

Interment in Liberty cemetery
