John Roberts, 1882-1918

John Roberts was born in Clay county in 1882 and died at the state hospital on November 2, 1918, being 36 years and 11 months old at the time of his death. Thirteen years ago he united with the Pennial church and was a good and faithful Christian. Funeral services were held at Zion church on Nov. 4 by Rev. Rowlands. He is survived by two brothers, Rice H. Roberts of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Hugh W. Roberts of Linn Grove, together with his step father, Edwin Glynn and a number of relatives and friends.
