Myron Rosendall, 1918-1929

Myron Rosendall, 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Rosendall of near Linn Grove, Iowa, died last Thursday morning at 10:45 o'clock in the Lutheran hospital in Sioux City, Iowa, following an operation for appendicitis. At the time of his death he was 11 years, 1 month and 26 days old.

Myron complained of not feeling well the Monday prior to his death and when found he had appendicitis lie was immediately rushed to the hospital at Sioux City, where he was operated upon. All that medical aid and loving hands could do, was done for the child, but to no avail.

He was born on a farm near Royal, June 5, 1918, and attended the rural public schools near there and near Linn Grove.

Myron is survived by his parents and two sisters, Miss Ellen and Miss Ruth of near Linn Grove, one grandmother, Mrs. Anna Rosendall of Royal, numerous other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:45 o'clock Sunday, August 4, at the Rosendall home near Linn Grove and at 2:30 o'clock at the Danish Lutheran church in Royal. Rev. K. Nyegaard, pastor of the Danish Lutheran church in Spencer, had charge of the services. Burial was made in the Willow Creek cemetery near Royal.
