A fatal case of poisoning occurred in Gillett's Grove township Tuesday evening. Alfred Reeves' boys were with the hired man in the field where he plowed up wild parsnips, and the boys without his knowledge ate some of the parsnips. When they went to the house, Nelson Reeves, aged 13, complained of feeling dizzy, and went into the bed room and lay down on the bed. His parents soon heard him groan and going to him found him in spasms from which he soon died. The other boy was also very sick but a liberal use of antidotes saved his life. The funeral of Nelson was held at his home at three o'clock Wednesday.
