Owen Perry was born in Douglas township, Clay county, February 9, 1874, and departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 1st at his home in Lake township, south of Terril.
Mr. Perry was united in marriage on March 16, 1904 to Miss Martha Feet at Spencer. To this union was born five children, one boy and four daughters. He leaves besides his wife and children one brother and three sisters, D. C. Perry and Mrs. Harry Campbell of Spencer, Mrs. J. H. Pelham of Managha, Minnesota, and Mrs. R. B. Culbertson of Primghar, Iowa.
He was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family and relatives and a host of friends.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church, in this city on Thursday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. 0. M. Bond and the interment was in Riverside cemetery.
