KEITH WALRATH

OREGON CITY -- Keith Stanford Walrath, a member of St. John the Apostle Church here, died Sept. 10 (2010). He was 87.

Mr. Walrath was born Oct. 11, 1922, in Peterson, Iowa. In 1941, he left his family farm to go off to college, but at age 19, he enlisted in the Marines. After he was discharged fromthe Marines he returned to Klamath Falls (Oregon), where he married Norma in 1846. He was a longtime employee of Pacific Power and Light. He retired in 1963, and the family moved to Gladstone (Oregon) in 1868. He was involved with the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A funeral Mass was held at St. John the Apostle.
