Former Everly Resident Dies in California

Word has been received in Everly of the death of Mr. John J. Moeller of Sweetwater Road, National City, California, who passed away last week Tuesday, December 26, at the age of sixty-four years.

He was born on a farm near Everly, Iowa, December 8, 1897 and later moved to Minnesota near Menahga where he owned and operated a resort for thirteen years before retiring and going to California. The deceased is survived by his widow, Lucille C. Moeller of 5115 Sweetwater Road, National City, California; his mother, Mrs. Anena Moeller, a brother Frank Moeller both of Staples, Minnesota and a sister Mrs. Elsie Deal, of Brainerd, Minnesota.

Recitation of the Rosary was held December 28, 1961 at 7:00 p.m. at McAllister Mortuary and Requiem Mass, December 29, 1961, 8:00 a. m. at St Michael's Church. Interment was made at Holy Cross Cemetery, San Diego, California.
