Funeral Services for Seymore Henry Friday

Word had been received by Everly relatives that Seymore Henry passed away Friday night at his home in Vallejo, California.

Seymore will be remembered by many Everly friends, as he made his home with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Art Moeller and family for a number of years and graduated from the Everly High School with the class of 1949.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, February 2nd., 2 o'clock from the Leyson Funeral Home in Milford.

Services Held at Milford For Seymore Henry

Funeral services for Seymore Henry of Vallejo, California were held last Friday afternoon, February 2, 1962, from the Leyson Funeral Home in Milford.

OBITUARY

Woodford Seymore Henry youngest son of Elizabeth and Woodford Henry, was born December 6, 1930, at Coon Rapids, Iowa and was baptized in the Methodist Church. He attended grade school in Royal and high school in Everly. He graduated from Everly High School with the class of 1949. He then enlisted in the U. S. Navy where he served for over ten years and was a veteran of the Korean War. He received his honorable discharge, November 1, 1961. He had spent the last two months with his mother in Milford, Iowa. He then returned to his home in Vallejo, California where he passed away on January 26, 1962.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Leona; three small sons, Timothy, Marty and Brett; two adopted sons, Roger and Douglas, one adopted daughter, Diana; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Henry; four sisters, Mrs. Art Moeller, Everly, Iowa, Mrs. Harold Mortenson, Fortuna, Missouri, Mrs. Marvin Johnson, Encinita, California and Mrs. Melvin Chrestionson, Milford, Iowa; one half brother, Eldon of Joliet, Illinois; six nieces, eight nephews and other relatives and friends.
