Forrest Hirleman Given Gold Watch
by His Subordinates

Spencer, Jan. 11-Forrest Hirleman, formerly of Spencer, but for two years past a resident of New York City, has held the position of deputy chief tenement house inspector for about a year and at New Year’s Eve was presented with a gold watch and chain and a diamond locket from his subordinates, as a token of their esteem. Mr. Hirleman is a graduate of the high school here and of Cornell College at Mount Vernon, Ia., the class of 1900.
