My great grandfather was born in Clark County Iowa in 1865. He and his wife Loisa Margaret Huff married and had 10 children all born in Iowa. Somewhere between 1902 abd 1910 he and the entire family moved to The Dalles near Hood River, Oregon and I'm trying to find anything on his life in Iowa since he was in his 40's when he moved. There are many variations to the last name of Slutz. Just wondered if you could give me a clue. My mother was the daughter of Wilbur Lee Slutz, son of Ephraim.
