Isaac A. Lott died, September 28th, at his mother's home in Osceola, after a lingering illness called catarrh of the stomach. He was born April 3, 1842 in St. Joseph county, Michigan, his parents being Ichabold and Synthia Lott. He was a deaf mute, and his life was one of many hardships which it is to be hoped will change to a happier state in the world beyond. He had been a member of the M. E. church for twenty years. He leaves a wife, son and daughter, mother and two sisters with whom friends sympathize. He was married at Iowa City in 1867 to Mary Dickens.
