Joseph Franklin Harris was born in Osceola, Clarke county, March 6, 1875 and departed this life at his home May 25, 1926, at the age of 50 years, 2 months and 19 days. He was married to Miss Lillian M. Pierson, August 20, 1899. To this union was born 5 children, Robert J. Harris, deceased, Dortha Marie, Edna Ruth, Kenneth Edward and Thelma Viola.
