FIELDS SPELLERBERG, Osceola

Services for Fields Spellerberg, 91, Osceola, who died April 26, 1986 at his residence, were held Tuesday, April 29, at the First Christian Church in Osceola with the Rev. Neville Clayton and the Rev. Marty Burgus officiating. William Lochrie of post 405 of Murray officiated at military rites. Burial was at the Union Cemetery in Clarke County.

Masonic services were held April 28 at the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola.

Born in Madison township of Clarke County on Dec. 7, 1894, he was the son of Fred and Margaret Burgus Spellerberg. On Mary 16, 1921, he was married to Helen Simmerman at Osceola.

Mr. Spellerberg was a farmer and veteran of World War I. He was a member of the William Lochrie Post #405 at Murray and a 50-year member of the Surprise Lodge #396 A.F. and A.M. of Murray. He belonged to the Madison Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Edna Mae Parker and husband Lee of Truro; a son, Merril of Lorimor; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a brother, Floyd of Murray.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a brother.
