Mrs. Laura Rook, 96, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Dodds, 1811 Grande avenue SE, for many years, died Saturday noon in a nursing home in Des Moines. She was the widow of Ambrose Rook.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Ernst of Des Moines and Mrs. Dodds, a son, Clyde, and several grandchildren.

Services will be held in the Hamilton funeral home, Des Moines, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
