The funeral of John Saddoris, who died at his home, Thursday morning from heart disease, will be held at 2 o'clock, Monday afternoon at the Mayview church, followed by interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Saddoris was born in Champaign County, April 19, 1850, but spent the greatest part of his life farming near Osceola, IA., returning to Mayview in 1919 to live. He had made his home there since.

In addition to his widow, Hulda, and the eight children, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Adaline Clevenger of Missouri, Catherine Williams of Iowa, Henry, Enoch, Elizabeth and Ella of Osceola, IA., Samuel of Nebraska, Lincoln of Urbana, and Fred and Minnie Of Washington. There are also eight grandchildren surviving.

John Saddoris, 75, years old, a retired farmer, died yesterday at his home in Mayview. Death was caused by heart disease.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Hulda Saddoris, four sons, E.E., William, Ross, and James. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Edythe Woodhouse, California, and Mrs. Taulaln Glass, of the home. A brother, Lincoln, of Somer Township, also survives.

Funeral services will be at 2 o’clock Monday at the St. Joseph Methodist Episcopal Church, in Mayview.
