Ivalee I. Shepherd, 85, of Osceola passed away on May 18, 2011, at the home of her daughter in Missouri. She was the daughter of Lloyd Karns and Pearl Rumley Karns and was born February 20, 1926, in Decatur County, Iowa.

Graduating from Osceola High School, she lived most of her adult life in Osceola. Eldon Shepherd became her husband on June 19, 1944, at Camp Weingarten, St. Genevieve, Missouri; they had one daughter, Constance.

Ivalee worked at numerous cashiering positions with her last place of employment being at Des Moines Savings and Loan. She enjoyed music, singing and reading. Being a devoted member of the Church of Christ in Osceola was most important to her.

Preceding Ivalee in death were her parents; husband, Eldon; and two sisters, Madge Karns and Helen Karns.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Constance Critelli of Warsaw, Missouri; grandchildren, Brenda Reish Bridge and husband, Mike and Gregory A. Reish and wife, Regina - both of Los Angeles, California; aunt, Eloise Reynolds of Leon; many other relatives and a host of friends.
