Funeral Services For Mrs. Frank Fox
Held At Woodburn Monday Morning

Mrs. Frank Fox passed away at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines last Thursday, April 14, after an illness of one week. Although she had been in ill health for some time the immediate cause of her death was uremic poisoning. She was removed from her home in Woodburn, Iowa, on Tuesday, April 12, to the hospital in Des Moines but it was found that she was beyond the help of medical science.

Julie Ann Cronin, youngest daughter of Michael and Julia Cronin was born in Galesburg, Knox county, Illinois, January 11, 1869. In the spring of 1874 she moved with her parents to a farm in Clarke county, Iowa, in which county she resided since.

On October 9, 1890, she was united in marriage in St. Marys church in Woodburn to Frank Fox. To this union were born five children, an infant son Raymond, died in 1896.

She is survived by her husband, four children, Margaret F. Davenport of Des Moines, John D. of Kansas City, William B. of Newton and Frances Eugene with the U. S. Navy now stationed in Honolulu, Hawaiian Islands, also six grandchildren and three brothers, one brother and five sisters having preceded her in death.

While her home was foremost in her mind, she found time to take an active part in the affairs of the community in which she had spent so many years. She was a member of the Woodburn Community club, The Royal Neighbors of America, Woodmen Circle and took an active part in the work of her church.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Marys Catholic church in Woodburn and interment was made in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Messrs. Gus Fuller, Russell Boor, Merle Davenport, Guy Heston, Seth Hootman and Lawrence Marquis.
