Mary Virgene Beeman, daughter of Arthur Stubbs and Cora (Bryant) Stubbs was born February 11, 1929 in Grand River, Iowa and passed from this life Friday, February 8, 2019 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 89 years of age.

Mary grew up in Grand River and graduated from Grand River High School. She moved to Osceola after high school and got a job at the drug store. She met Richard "Dick" Beeman, they began dating on July 4, 1946 and were married on August 25, 1946 at his brother's home in Osceola, Iowa. Three children blessed this union, Bruce, Virginia "Ginny" and Conda.

Mary loved her family and time spent together. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and earlier years she and Dick enjoyed playing pinochle with friends. When her children were in school she worked at A&W and later she owned the Dairy Queen in Osceola.

Those relatives who preceded Mary in death were her husband, Dick Beeman, and parents, Arthur and Cora Stubbs; 4 brothers, Junior, Donald, Merlin, Darrell; 3 sisters, Helen, Leona and Barbie.
