Dorothy Zora Waugh, 80 of Osceola died Friday May 4, 1984 at the Clarke County Hospital. Services were held Saturday, May 5 at the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. Neville Clayton officiating at the 1:30 p.m. rites. Interment was in the Ottawa Cemetery, Clarke County.

Dorothy Zora Waugh was born September 29, 1903 in Woodburn, Iowa to William Carson and Mary Wiley Carson. She attended schools in Clarke County and was married to Lloyd Lester Waugh on March 9, 1921 in Osceola. She lived her entire life in Clarke and Lucas Counties, moving to Osceola in 1960. She was active in the Congregate Meal Site and a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Olive Weakland of Osceola, Irene Waugh and husband Herman of Osceola, and Marvel Bryson of Des Moines, a sister-in-law, Lena Carson of Osceola and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Olin Carson.
