Funeral services were held Sunday, June 13 for Alta Wade. Mrs. Wade, who was 89 years old, died June 11 at a Des Moines hospital. She lived most of her life in the Weldon area, the past few years she had been a resident of Osceola Leisure Manor. Survivors include three daughters, Nadine Skinner and husband, John of Des Moines, Normalee Quayle and husband, Ted of Weldon and Naomi Hunter and Husband Jess of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Helen Wade of Weldon; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Wade, and son, Glendal "Sport" Wade. Sincere sympathy is extended to the family.
