Albert Ross, the infant son of Joseph and Ida Penick, departed this life March 12th of lung fever, aged six months and 28 days. the little darling was snatched from fond parents' hearts within a few days after taking sick to go to a haven of rest where suffering is no more.

We will dry our tears though
Our hearts are full of pain,
For our great loss is his great gain;
For in God's book the words are given
That babes are born the heirs of Heaven.
So in God's hands, we will trust our boy,
A mother's pride, a father's joy.

The sorrowing friends have the sympathy of the many friends and a greater sympathizer in Jesus who can give them strength to bear their loss. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. B. Long, after which the remains of little Ross were interred in the burial ground of Ottawa, to rest till the resurrection morn.
MRS. KATE PULTZ.
