Mrs. Minor Carson
Dies Here Saturday

Funeral Held Monday For
Lifetime County Resident

Mrs. Minor Carson, 65, died here at her home, 119 North Park street on Saturday, Nov. 7. She had been a resident of this county her entire life.

The daughter of Thomas C. Page and Henrietta Barton Page, she was born in Clarke county February 19, 1888, and received her education in the county school system.

She was married to Minor Carson on Dec. 5, 1917, and two sons were born to them, Richard and Stanley Paul. Stanley was killed in his country's service on Dec. 31, 1944.

She was a member of the Osceola Community Bible church.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Richard; four brothers, Russell Page of Des Moines, Sam and Raymond Page of Osceola, and Floyd Page of Chariton; one sister, Mrs. Laurel Powell; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 9, from Webster funeral home, with Rev. Clark of Woodburn officiating. Burial was in Ottawa cemetery.

Pallbearers included Tom Page, Eugene Powell, Robert Powell, Orville Carson, Bill Wiley and Mardis Collins.
