Mrs. Ella H. Coppock

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella H. Coppock, long time resident of Clarke County, were held from the Webster Funeral Home at Osceola with burial in the Woodburn cemetery.

Mrs. Coppock passed away at the home of her son John in Miami, Fla. Ella H. Coppock was born at Glasford, Ill., April 1, 1881, and passed away June 16 at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 16 days.

She was married to Harry N. Coppock at Woodburn, May 14, 1907, who passed away Oct. 16, 1916. To this union were born two children, a daughter Elaine who passed away in infancy. She is survived by her son John and one grandson and two brothers, Seth E. Hootman of Woodburn and Elmer Hootman of Fresno, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Charles Monroe of Coral Gables, Fla.

She was a member of the Methodist church at Fremont where she was a faithful worker and after moving to Woodburn was united with the Methodist church there. She was a member of the O.E.S. and a Past Worthy Matron. For many years she taught in the schools of Clarke and Lucas counties.

Her memory will linger long in the hearts of those who knew her.
