Saturday AfternoonEarl H. Black, widely known Clarke county citizen, died at a nursing home in Osceola Wednesday after a long illness. He was 58 years old.
Services will be held from the Webster Funeral Home at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon with Re. C. C. Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Woodburn cemetery.
Mr. Black operated a restaurant in Osceola for many years and was prominent in business and political affairs of the city and county.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter, Wayne is overseas; Mickey of Davenport and Mrs. Paul Christ of Shabbona, Ill. Wayne's wife, Mickey and Mrs. Christ will be here for the services.
