Marian Kerr, infant daughter of Lon and Elsie Kerr departed this life at their home at Liberty, Clarke county, Iowa on the 23rd day of February 1897, aged five months and twenty three days. This lovely innocent treasure, the joy and comfort of the fond, young parents hearts has but closed its eyes on earth to open them in Heaven. How often we gather brightest flowers but to see them fade and die.
