Died, at the home of her son Robert, in Fremont Tp., August 25, 1885, Mrs. Andrew Funston, having reached the remarkable age of ninety-seven years. She was buried in the Liberty cemetery, August 26, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. J. A. Morris. Mrs. Funston was born in Ireland in 1788, came to America with her parents, married Andrew Funston with whom she lived until his death in 1854. Of the five children born to her, three of them, Sarah, Thomas and Robert, all advanced in life, are living in this county.
