OBITUARY

Mr. Leonard D. Edgington, son of Jacob and Mary Edgington, was born May 16, 1732 in Ohio, and died September 29, 1905, aged 73 years, 4 months and 14 days. He was married to Mary E. Shields March 7, 1856. Eight children crowned this union, one dying in infancy. Two girls died after they were married, both dying in the same year. They have eleven grandchildren, three having gone before. Bro. Edgington was reared in a religious home and he was converted at the age of 18 and joined the M. E. church. His wife was converted at the age of 14, and when she was married joined the Methodist church with her husband.

Bro. Edgington was a loving husband, a kind father, and obliging neighbor and a consistent Christian. He died as he lived in the triumph of a living faith. He leaves a loving wife, five children, Richard, Charley, William, Mary and Sadie, and eight grandchildren, with a host of friends and a sorrowing church to mourn his loss. May we all be prepared to meet him in heaven.
