Many YearsPearl Daniel King, 80-year-old long-time resident of Clarke county, died Wednesday at an Osceola nursing home.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed this morning but friends may call the Webster Funeral home for details.
The son of Jessie and Bell Cline King, he was born Feb. 17, 1878, in Adams county, Iowa and received his education in the schools there. Mr. King was a retired farmer and had lived all of his life in Adams and Clarke county with the exception of a few years in Nebraska.
On July 30, 1903, he was united in marriage with Rose Lee Cline at Corning, and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons, Louis, Osceola, and Kenneth, Bridgewater; three daughters, Mrs. Golden Schrader of Monroe, Mrs. Mildred Wright of Russell and Mrs. Zona Pinto of Vallejo, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Tigh of Great Falls, Mont.; a brother Elmer, of Lincoln, Nebr.; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Raymond, and nine brothers and sisters.
