Eliza Ann Stafford Bevans (1825 - 1905)

Eliza Ann Stafford was born in Kent County, Delaware, September 25, 1825 where she lived until she was fourteen years of age. She them moved whith her parents to Ohio and from Ohio to Illinois near Peoria. In Peoria she was united in marriage to A. P. Bevans. To this union were born twelve children, six of whom with their father have preceded her to their eternal home. Those that are now living are Mrs. Louisa Aronholt, of Winfield, Iowa, Mrs. Sarah O'hair, of Weldon, Iowa, and Mrs. W. S. Cline, C.S., F.B. and A.G. Bevans of Osceola. She died at the home of her daughter Mrs. W.S. Cline, March 29, 1905, aged 80 years, 6 months and 4 days. The funeral services were conducted at East Chapel M. P. church by Rev. S. B. Clark of Osceola.
