Obituary.

Mrs. Elizabeth Dougherty Winters was born October 20, 1813, in Donegal, Ireland, was married to Isaiah Winters in Ohio in 1836. He died in 1855. Since her husband's death she has lived with her only child, Mrs. Philip Alexander. She united with the Presbyterian church at the age of twenty-four. For the past twenty - two years she has been an invalid and has suffered intensely. She bore her sufferings patiently until death came to relieve her Saturday, August 19, 1899, at 1:30 a. m. Her funeral was held at the residence of E. C. Willging on 32nd and I. St., South Omaha, Nebraska, Sunday at 10 a. m. and her remains were brought to Osceola on No. 4, accompanied by her daughter, and interred by the side of her son-in-law, Mr. Philip Alexander.
