The funeral of Mrs. Alice Woods who died on Sunday Jan 26th was held at Bethel Chapel on Monday 27th. Bro Mitchell of Lucas conducted the services. Mrs. Woods was only sick a short time about ten days with pneumonia and brain fever as a complication her sufferings were intense during the time. She was a lady of about 53 years of age and was a member of the Christian Union church at Bethel chapel. She was the wife of Henry Woods who with their four sons John, Bert, Charlie and Elga mourn the loss of wife and mother, also one brother Charles Hart of Woodburn and a large circle of friends mourn her demise.
