The remains of Mr. Halloway, father of Dr. Halloway, were accompanied here last Sunday by relatives from Indianola, where he died. The funeral sermon was preached to a large congregation by Rev. Beer, the Presbyterian minister, after which the remains were laid to rest beside those of his companion in Bethel cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of this community.
