Mark Henninger
Mark Allen Henninger, 81 found dead in his home in the west part of Osceola, Friday evening by Edward Snell, 11-year-old son of Gerald Snell. The lad opened the door to deliver the evening paper and saw the body on the floor and notified neighbors.

Henninger had lived in Osceola for the past six or seven years and prior to that time had lived most of his life in Mason county, Ill., where he was in the insurance business.

He was born in that Illinois county on February 27, 1870. On May 27, 1899, he was married to Bessie Louise Lloyd of Petersburg, Ill. Four children born to them Bessie Louise who died in 1944, Horace Monroe of Washington, D. C., William Hebert, Miami, Fla., and Jessie Heden Nicholson of Osceola. Mrs. Henninger died In 1910.

He had been in ill health for the past two years and death was attributed to a heart attack.

Surviving are the three children, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday afternoon, December 10 at the Miller Funeral home with Rev. R. D. Beving officiating. Burial was at the Bethel Chapel cemetery in Liberty township.
