Graveside services held
Wednesday for Nellie Hart

Graveside services were Wednesday at Bethel Chapel Cemetery for Nellie Hart, 99, of Osceola who died July 7, 1991, at Osceola Leisure Manor.

The Rev. Neville Clayton officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kale Funeral Home in Osceola.

Mrs. Hart, the daughter of William John and Olive Davis Higgins was born Jan. 7, 1892, at Macomb, Ill. She received her education in the Monmouth, Ill. schools and at Wren Hill and Hazel Dell in Lucas County.

She married Elias Hart on March 30, 1908, in Des Moines. The couple were the parents of two children.

Mrs. Hart, a homemaker, was a member of the Bethel Christian Church and then at First Christian Church in Osceola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1979; son, John in 1980; two grandsons; two sisters; and a great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Hart is survived by a daughter, Corda Clark and her husband Les, of Osceola; a daughter-in-law, Beulah Hart, of Osceola; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
